Addicted To Retail (ATR) presents: Thom Browne Miami.
Thom Browne has just opened its latest retail store in Miami‘s Design District. Just in time for Miami’s Art Basel convention, the new 3,000 square-foot store surrounds itself by some of Miami’s most celebrated art galleries, high-end retail store, and restaurants.
As this marks the American designer’s second flagship on home soil, Brown commented: “…I am excited for my store in Miami…the design district feels right and feels special and unique within the city…I felt it was important to be part of the design district because of the importance that the area places on art…and my approach to the design of the store is unique to Miami…my grey tile box…I felt the design district deserved a unique retail experience…”
Designed in partnership with Flavio Albanese of ASA Studio Albanese, the new store features details like signature grey subway tiles on the ceiling, floor, and walls, a specious layout with mobile display racks, and mid-century furniture by Pierre Jeanneret, Jacques Adnet, Maison Jansen, Paul McCobb, and Dunbar by Edward Wormley.
