Addicted To Retail (ATR) presents: The Daily Edited (the) flagship by Pattern Studio in Melbourne, Australia.
The young design studio Pattern designed the first flagship of The Daily Edited located in Australia, Melbourne. This was to offer a physical shop to the e-commerce brand of personalized leather and lifestyle accessories, creating a place up to the principle of personalization: sophisticated and unique. Let yourself be invaded by its shades of pink...
Get into the door of the The Daily Edited flagship - tde. -, it's a bit like going to the tailor or in the VIP lounge of a luxury ready-to-wear brand, in the process of getting an object that no one else can own, since personalized. Indeed, the case designed by Pattern Studio – Lily Goodwin and Josh Cain – gives each visitor the sensation of being unique, where every detail counts from his welcome to his well-being, in order to make the latter the main actor of the place. The shop, which is a delicate balance between sophistication and minimalism, offers precious materials – pink marble and white terrazzo – and distinguished details, thus reinforcing the feeling of exclusivity. But the designers were able to find the right proportions between luxurious environment and sleek architecture.
Indeed, although the shop is pink-bathed, the main lines that design the main shop are simple and pure. Pattern Studio has included into its project a wink to futurism and to the "spatial" design that one imagines to become ours soon, imagining that the future is in curves forms, and therefore in softness. Lily Goodwin and Josh Cain are undoubtedly part of the New Australian Scene, those who renew the genre in terms of interior design and architecture.
If the specific codes to the sumptuous are used here, a shop with a relaxed atmosphere, casual and accessible to all has been skilfully designed to present the products of tde. Created as a continuation of the e-commerce platform, this flagship has been developed to offer customers a physical space to expound on and recreate a dynamic human link. The designers of Pattern Studio also had to contend with a small floor area (60sqm), the overall envelope is uncluttered and emphasizes a warm space and product enhancement rather than ornament. In addition, subtle lighting highlights elegantly the curves of the shop, diffusing on its walls a soft and controlled light, reinforcing the brightness of the project.
This quality space includes an exceptional and unique customer experience, based on a minimalist design and the fast and certain advancement of new technologies. In addition, the shop The Daily Edited is reinforcing the place of Pink as a core element and perhaps even more perennial than one might have believed in the retail universe.
